Roll-to-Roll Labeling Machine (Label-on-Label / Label-on-Film)

中文卷标贴标机

The YIXING roll-to-roll labeling machine applies labels onto another label web or onto film. The base material runs from unwind to rewind, and the labeler in the middle detects each labeling point and applies the label. It runs at 100–200 pcs/min with ±0.5 mm accuracy and takes rolls up to 300 mm in outer diameter.

Overview

This machine is for jobs where the item being labeled is itself a roll: label-on-label, where a label goes onto another label web, or label-on-film. The samples show QR-code labels applied onto film and labels applied onto a roll material. Rather than handling pieces one at a time, the whole roll is processed and rewound after labeling.

The base roll sits on the unwind and is collected by the rewind. As the material passes the middle of the machine, the labeler detects the labeling point and applies the label. Speed is 100–200 pcs/min and accuracy ±0.5 mm (excluding product and label tolerances), and any roll up to 300 mm in outer diameter can be loaded.

The label range depends on the application method: suction (tamp) application takes labels 6–100 mm long and 6–100 mm wide (liner width), roll-on application 6–150 mm long and 6–150 mm wide. The machine is approx. 1550 mm long, 720 mm wide and 1350 mm high, weighs 160 kg and takes 220 V / 50 Hz power.

Key advantages

Label-on-label or label-on-film

Applies labels onto another label web or onto film; one sample has QR-code labels on film.

Unwind → sense → label → rewind

The material runs from unwind to rewind while the labeler in the middle detects each labeling point, keeping the process continuous.

100–200 pcs/min

A labeling speed of 100–200 pcs/min suits processing complete rolls in volume.

±0.5 mm placement

Labels are placed at the detected labeling point with ±0.5 mm accuracy, excluding product and label tolerances.

Suction and roll-on label ranges

Suction application: labels 6–100 mm long and wide (liner width). Roll-on application: labels 6–150 mm long and wide.

Rolls up to 300 mm OD

Takes rolls up to 300 mm outer diameter; approx. 1550 × 720 × 1350 mm (L × W × H), 160 kg, 220 V / 50 Hz.

Options and customization

  • Suction (tamp) application: labels 6–100 mm long, 6–100 mm wide (liner width)
  • Roll-on application: labels 6–150 mm long, 6–150 mm wide (liner width)

Selection tips

  • If you are labeling individual boxes, bags or cards rather than a roll, look at the automatic flat top-surface labeling machine or the automatic card-dispensing labeling machine (both 40–120 pcs/min).
  • If products travel on your existing conveyor, the inline labeling heads (1–120 pcs/min) mount beside the line and label them there.
  • For precision converted components that must be placed at ±0.05 mm, choose the vision-guided precision labeling machine.

FAQ

What does a roll-to-roll labeling machine do?

It applies labels onto another label web (label-on-label) or onto film (label-on-film). The material runs from unwind to rewind and is labeled in between.

What roll size can the roll-to-roll labeler take?

Any roll up to 300 mm in outer diameter.

What speed and accuracy does the roll-to-roll labeler reach?

It labels at 100–200 pcs/min, with placement accuracy of ±0.5 mm (product and label tolerances excluded).

Which label sizes does the roll-to-roll labeler accept?

Suction application: 6–100 mm long and 6–100 mm wide (liner width). Roll-on application: 6–150 mm long and 6–150 mm wide.

How does it know where to place each label?

As the material passes the middle of the machine, the labeler detects the labeling point and applies the label there.

How big is the roll-to-roll labeling machine?

Approx. 1550 × 720 × 1350 mm (L × W × H) and 160 kg, powered by 220 V / 50 Hz.
