Cosmetics & personal care

Round, flat and square bottles, jars and tubes: wrap-around and front-and-back labels.

Cosmetic and personal-care packaging comes in many shapes, so the machine follows the container. Round bottles and jars take wrap-around labels: the semi-automatic round bottle labeler handles short runs at 15–30 pcs/min and ±0.5 mm, the automatic positioning labeler runs at 30–60 pcs/min, and the roll-rubbing wrap-around labeler reaches 60–120 pcs/min for single labels. Flat bottles such as shampoo bottles are labeled on both sides at once at 25–60 pcs/min. Lipstick tubes and other small cylinders that will not stand are labeled lying down at 100–200 pcs/min.

Food & beverage

Bottles, cans, jars, boxes and fresh produce labeled straight and fast, with dates and barcodes printed on the label.

Food and beverage lines label containers at line speed. Upright bottles and cans are labeled by the automatic positioning round bottle labeler at 30–60 pcs/min and ±1 mm, in partial or full wrap; for single labels at higher output, the roll-rubbing wrap-around labeler handles bottles and jars at 60–120 pcs/min. Boxes and cartons get top labels at 40–120 pcs/min. When each label must carry a production date, barcode or QR code, the side print-and-apply labeler prints and applies it in one step, and frozen food, fruit and vegetables are labeled by print-and-blow at 10–15 pcs/min.

Pharmaceuticals & daily chemicals

Accurate labels on bottles, vials, boxes and pouches, with barcodes and dates printed on the label.

Vials, syringes and oral-liquid bottles that will not stand steadily are labeled lying down on the horizontal round bottle labeler at 100–200 pcs/min and ±1 mm; pharmaceutical and chemical bottles that stand upright go through the automatic positioning labeler at 30–60 pcs/min. Flat and square daily-chemical bottles, such as laundry detergent bottles, are labeled on both sides at once at 60–150 pcs/min. Soft pouches are separated from a stack by suction and labeled at 30–50 pcs/min, and the card-dispensing print-and-apply labeler applies a freshly printed QR code, barcode or date label to each carton or bag.

Electronics

Vision-guided labeling, cable flag labels and precise tape application on boards, components and assemblies.

Electronics work needs small labels in exact positions. The vision-guided labeling machine locates each label with upper and lower cameras and places labels or converted components at ±0.05 mm; the semi-automatic high-precision labeler applies small labels to components at ±0.3 mm. Power and data cables get fold-over flag labels at ±0.3 mm and 15–25 pcs/min. For tape, the vision-aligned tape applicator aligns PCBs and sheets by CCD camera at ±0.5 mm and about 1,200 pcs/hour, and the desktop tape applicator tapes small parts at a workbench.

Hardware & metal parts

Double-sided, 3M and high-temperature tape on metal parts, protective film and metal edge wrapping.

Metal parts are usually taped rather than labeled: double-sided, 3M or high-temperature tape is laid in strips while the part is held by vacuum or a fixture. The floor-standing rotary-head and 2-axis tape applicators do this at ±1 mm and 500 mm/s; the dual-head model tapes flat faces on uneven parts that do not sit steadily and unloads them magnetically. Protective film up to 450 mm wide is laminated and cut automatically by the wide-format film applicator, and the metal edge wrapping machine is built to order for the edge-wrapping step.

Plastics & injection parts

Tape, film and labels on plastic housings, panels, lids and small parts, standalone or on the line.

Molded housings, panels and lids take tape, film or labels on flat faces. Flat parts in continuous production are taped by the inline conveyor tape applicator at ±2 mm and 500 mm/s, and protective film up to 450 mm wide is laminated and cut by the wide-format film applicator. Parts that need exact placement are aligned by camera on the vision-aligned tape applicator at ±0.5 mm. For labels, the semi-automatic flat surface labeler labels plastic lids at ±0.5 mm and the high-precision model applies small labels at ±0.3 mm.

Batteries & power

Wrap labels on cylindrical cells, tape on packs with jigs built for your cells, and vision-guided labeling of small parts.

Battery lines combine wrap labels, tape and precise placement. Cylindrical cells that stand upright are labeled by the automatic positioning round bottle labeler at 30–60 pcs/min and ±1 mm, with single or double labels in partial or full wrap. Tape on cells and packs is applied on the desktop tape applicator with jigs built for your cells, and small components or converted parts are placed at ±0.05 mm by the vision-guided labeling machine.

Automotive components

Floor-standing and dual-head tape application for interior and trim parts, flag labels for wire harnesses and vision dispensing for automotive electronics.

Automotive interior and trim parts are large and often uneven, so taping is the main job. The floor-standing 3-axis tape applicator lays tape along contours and at several points on one part, and the dual-head tape applicator tapes flat faces on uneven parts with two heads working alternately and magnetic unloading. Wire harnesses get fold-over flag labels at ±0.3 mm, and the vision dispensing machine applies glue to automotive electronics with automatic loading and unloading.
