This tape applicator was built to order for one customer's flat parts. An aluminium gantry spans a fixture table on a closed steel base; the tape head travels along the gantry, and its wide multi-roller head presses wide tape or film across the part.
A cable carrier guides the cables and air lines of the moving head, a touchscreen on a post controls the machine and an emergency stop sits on the front of the base. A separate belt conveyor at the end of the machine takes finished parts away, so the machine can pass parts straight on to the next step.
Table size, head width, gantry travel and the conveyor are all made to your parts. If you need wide tape or film on flat parts and no standard model fits, send us a drawing or samples.
Several rollers across the head press wide tape or film flat over the full width of the part.
The head travels on a gantry above the fixture table for a straight, even run of tape or film.
Parts are placed in a fixture on the table, so each one sits in the same position under the head.
A belt conveyor at the end of the machine takes finished parts away and can link the machine to your line.
Cycles are started and set on a touchscreen; an emergency stop is on the front of the base.
Table size, head width, gantry travel and conveyor length are designed for your parts.

Applying wide tape or film to flat parts on a fixture table. The head travels on a gantry and presses the material down with several rollers, and an outfeed conveyor takes the parts away.
No. It was designed for one customer's parts. We build machines like it to your part size, tape or film and line layout.
It carries finished parts away from the machine, to a collection point or to the next step on your line.
The head is made to the width of your material, so tell us what you need. For reference, our standard wide-format film and tape applicator handles widths up to 450 mm.
That depends on your part and material, so we state cycle time and accuracy after testing your samples free of charge.

Brochure p. 11 ±1 mm The YIXING floor-standing 3-axis tape applicator is a custom-built taping machine. The X axis moves the tape head front to back while the Y and Z axes handle left-right moves, so it can tape around a panel's outline or at several positions on long panels. ±1 mm, 500 mm/s, full safety enclosure.
Brochure p. 8 ±1 mm The YIXING floor-standing 2-axis tape applicator splits the motion between two axes: the X axis drives the tape head and the Y axis moves the table carrying the part. It covers a 650 × 650 mm stroke at ±1 mm and 500 mm/s and suits parallel strips on sheets and foam boards.
Brochure p. 7 ±1 mm The YIXING floor-standing rotary-head tape applicator holds the part on its table by vacuum or a fixture and rotates the tape head to lay multiple horizontal and vertical strips. It covers a 500 × 1000 mm taping stroke at ±1 mm accuracy and 500 mm/s, and applies double-sided, 3M, clear and high-temperature tape.
